Low-noise TV tuner - has separating stage transistor amplifier between input circuit and tunable band filter

The low and constant signal-to-noise ratio of the t.v. tuner ensures operation in all conditions of reception including localities with a weak signal. The unit does not produce interferences for other equipment and it includes a tunable input followed by a first stage connected to a mixer. The latter is preceded by an adjustable band filter with a transistor amplifier acting as a separation stage. The transistor operates with a common base allowing a high current while the first stage includes a dual gate MOSFET.
