The forks are esp. for stacker trucks. They consists of a horizontal section forming the fork blade (7) and a vertical section (2) and the fork back for fastening the forks to the stacker. There are top and bottom fork hooks or one or more edges or screw holes(5). In the region of the bend ( 3) in the fork the fork truck is subjected to heat treatment to improve the mechanical properties and characteristics. This heat treatment can be air-hardening, water-hardening oil hardening or nitriding. The blade (1) of the fork is tapered. The whole fork is made of cast steel.
