Syringe or catheter union - has two halves inside enclosing sleeves with one larger than other

The union is for the connection of syringes, catheters, infusion needles etc. It has two halves designed to lock firmly together and pref. comprising internal and external cones. The halves (4, 11) are formed inside enclosing sleeves (5, 8, 8'), one of which (5) has an internal cross-section larger than the external one of the other. The sleeves can be round tube sections, the larger-dia. one being fixed to a concentric flange (2) behind the respective union half, while the other has a wall thinner than the annular space between the larger one and its union half.
