Oil water separator - using tank with water and oil over flows at different levels separated by partition

A device to separate an oil-water mixt. uses a pump to circulate the fluid between the water reservoir with the mixt. and a separator tank. The latter has two overflows at different levels, sepd. by a partition with an opening at the bottom. The higher overflow is used to pass the floating oil in a receiver which is drained at regular intervals or automatically. Such a plant separates continuously oil from water within a separator tank in the suction line.
