The equipment transports channel sections stacked together for use in underground mining support system. It has a bar-shaped supporting beam with a sliding clamping yoke and a locking device. The yoke (6) has a tapped bush, into which a locknut (7) screws, this nut having a bore fitting closely round the beam (5). Recesses are formed in the latter at intervals, into whic the locking device fits. An abutment (8) can be formed at the top end of the beam, and there can be locking pins at the top edge of the bush.
