The tennis technique training appts. has a ball the size of a tennis ball firmly attached to a return device. The appts. includes a ball (15) attached to a pendulum (8e and an axle (1), with the pendulum (8) suspended at one end of the axle whilst the other end carries a device to connect the axle to a support (27). The pendulum is made as a metal rod from a light metal and has a bend near to the ball attachment. The angle of the bend may vary between 10 and 90 deg. and the metal rod is fitted with a bearing ring (10) positioned at that end opposite to the ball attachment.
