Plastic sheathed chipboard panel furniture sections - are guided and stepped in production for easy assembly into sheathed unit

Panel pieces, comprising chipboard are sheathed in plastics. They are made for subsequent assembly into block-type pieces of furniture. During prodn., the sheathed pieces are mechanically grooved and/or stepped off on a production line. Grooves and steps are arranged so that a completely plastics-sheathed piece of furniture, with accurate angles, is produced following adhesive jointing in their vicinity. Gluing points may be mechanically coated with adhesive, and temporarily protected by a removable covering. This enables furniture to be easily assembled from pieces, esp. with items bought at lower cost in sections and assembled in the home.
