The container is intended for packing a liquid product. It consists of two components (1, 4) of different material. These are an outer casing (4) of paper, cardboard, metal or any combination and an inner, part. thermoplastics enclosure (1) for the contents. The inner enclosure is provided with a neck portion (2) and a bottom end (3) and its outer surface area is greater than the inner surface area of the casing. The inner enclosure may be cylindrical with hemi-spherical bottom and top ends, the circumference of the cylinder being greater than the inner circumference of the casing. The total length of the enclosure without the neck may be greater than that of the casing.
