Brake piston removing device - uses U=shaped element slidable onto brake caliper and eccentric pushing out pistons individually

The device consists of a fitting with a U-cross section which can be introduced in a recess of the brake caliper. The recesses on the leg parts of the U-shaped allow the fitting to be introduced into the recess even when the caliper is fitted and the brake disc fits into the recess. The brake pistons can be pushed out individually by an eccentric with a crank handle fitted into the slot of a bridge carrying end lugs engaging with notches on the top edge of the fitting. When one of the pistons is loosened by operating the eccentric, the other piston can be loosened by removing the fitting, turning it by 180 degrees and introducing it again into the recess.
