Improved wear grip link for snowchain - has thickening additions to grip edges without increasing height of grips

The snowchain is improved in its grip and wear by having thickening edges applied to the grip links which do not alter the shape of the chain nor the thickness of the chain on the tread. The thickening edges are applied either as separately welded strips or can be forged as part of the links. The chain can be conventional design, with the special reinforcement allowing it to be used for heavy duty tyres such as in quarries.
