Copier image transfer unit - has transfer electrode behind grid drum carrying copy and electrodes to cancel residual charge

Appts. transfers the developed image from the photosensitive drum onto the copy material in an electrostatic copier. It comprises a corona discharge transfer electrode inside a grid type drum which carries the copy material around in contact with the developed image on the photo-sensitive drum. The grid drum is constructed of conducting wires. After the image has been transferred secondary electrodes discharge any residual charge left by the transfer electrode.
