Industrial microwave tunnel oven - reduces power consumption by providing layered thermal insulation on inside of electrically-conducting cladding

The microwave tunnel oven has electrically-conducting cladding whose inside is supplied with microwave energy. Thermally insulating material is located adjacent to one inner wall of the cladding in order to insulate the inner space thermally from the inner wall. The thermally insulating material form a chamber or a tunnel. The cladding has an entrance and an exit through which a conveyor system passes carrying the material being heated through the tunnel. The thermally insulating material forms layers located adjacent to the inner walls of the cladding and enclosing thermally insulated zones between the inner chamber or tunnel and the cladding.
