The cash dispenser is fitted into banks and similar organizations to prevent large sums being accessible in the event of robbery. It comprises a logic unit and a keyboard, the counter clerk typing the required amount into the unit on presentation of a cheque. A ticket is issued for the sum required, this being printed with an identifying code. The ticket is inserted into the dispenser and the machine pays out and records the transaction. Limits are fixed for single payments and no more than two can be made on the same code or for the upper limit.
