Bulk material piling and removal unit - piles material by conveyor fed thrower with removal by gantry mounted bucket elevator

The bulk material is fed on a conveyor (6) to a wheeled structure (4) having a thrower (7) mounted on a turntable so that it can be turned to discharge to piles on either side of the bank (5) along which the structure (4) can be moved. A gantry spans the two rows of piles and has support legs (9, 10) carried by rollers which run on rails alongside the piles. The gantry has a beam (8) along which a truck (12) can be traversed. The truck carries a bucket elevator which discharges material from a pile on to a conveyor. The conveyor feeds the material to a chute (15) which discharges it to a conveyor.
