Vibratory sander top mounted hand grip - incorporates finger contours and enables pressure to be applied during overhead work

The hand grip (2) on a vibratory power sander is useful then the operator is reaching to treat overhead surfaces e.g. ceilings. It is a specially contoured block (2) which is fixed like a cap over the rear of the housing (1) of the sander. The contours provide finger grips and the operator can apply pressure to the sander in an elevated position without undue strain. The location of the finger contours may provide for a stable relationship between the thumber and the index finger of once hand (13). A shocking and the grip (2) may be used in combination with a conventional handle.
