The unit is capable of taking photographs in relief or for viewing positive transparency films. The transparency film is held automatically and hence does not require mounting frames. The unit consists of an enclosure with removable side walls. Feed and take-up spools (2, 4) are positioned either side of the light path defined by apertures (16, 9) in masks on either side of the film. The film is held close to the forward aperture by two rollers (7, 8), a shutter screen (10) is positioned close to the opposite side of this aperture.
