The assembly (1) has a holding arrangement (2) to hold an image acquisition unit (10) that is moved along a preset curved path (B) by a guiding unit (4). An object retainer (6) retains an object (12) to be photographed. The guiding unit is arranged such that the unit (10) is movable along the path with respect to the object. Another holding arrangement (14) is movable opposite to the retainer. Another object (16) held by the arrangement (14) is brought behind the retainer independent of a position of the acquisition unit opposite to the retainer in a viewing direction of the acquisition unit.
