This process consists in generating two voltages of opposite signs and varying in the opposite direction, a first voltage as a function of the number of clicks and a second voltage as a function of the number of revolutions, the ratio between these two numbers determining the admissible percentage of clicks, to add these two voltages and use their resultant which is the image of the percentage of clicks in relation to the number of revolutions to phase shift, forward, the ignition signal and thus phase shift, in the same direction, the ignition point, which has the effect of reducing the ignition advance.
