Forming partitions across conveyor belt - using clips over folded belt material secured by wedge or rivets

The method of forming partitions across the surface of a conveyor belt, uses the material of the belt itself, by folding it. These partitions can be made at regular intervals across the belt so as to carry forwards material deposited on the belt. The fold is formed by e.g. a bent metal clip which can be secured by rivets, welding etc. A support plate can be mounted on the underside of the belt, covering the fold opening. The clip can be curved to form a curved fold, and can be used at a joint. In one design, the clip is triangular, with its point downwards, with its two sides forced apart for insertion of the belt. The fold is then wedged by a triangular insert, forming a triangular fold, base upwards.
