The sheet steel panel has cut and folded rectangular flaps at regular intervals. The flaps may be cut on three sides and folded about the fourth minor side, being of identical form at uniform longitudinal and transverse centres, and projecting perpendicularly on alternate sides. Sheets may be placed with the flaps vertical, and may be fabricated under automatic processes, the sheet gauge and flap geometry being varied to meet structural requirements.
