Design of fiber sheet reinforcement for steel reinforced concrete beams and slabs

摘要

The use of continuous fiber sheet products for the reinforcement and repair of conventional concrete structures is becoming popular.These materials are typically used as external straps on the tension side of concrete members.The philosophy of design will be addressed,with apecial emphasis on the differences encountered with wead concrete surfaces.this will include the treatment of the horzontal shear at the strap end,concepts of limit and ultimiate loadin gand the assurance of the non-catastrophic failures for civil structures.
