The photographic developing equipment has a number of tubular containers forming reservoirs for different liquids used in the developing process. The containers extend into channels converging into one central channel which feeds the film processing chamber. Two pumps are provided for pumping processing liquids into or out of the processing chamber, with electronic control and timing of the operation. A programming card is used to determine the timing sequence, the card comprising a matrix of diodes. The distributor controlling the flow of processing liquids has for each channel, a bore formed at right angles to the channel. A stop valve hub slides in this bore and is operated by an electro-magnetic coil under the control of the electronic circuitry. The coil is screwed on to the outside of the bore in which the hub slides.
