A continuously working photographic print developing machine has s eries of sequentially arranged processing baths which are connected to metering refilling devices used to feed replenishment to the processing fluids as they become spent. A control regulates processing fluid replenishment through the valves (3). These inlet valves (3) are adjustable so that the amount of fluid delivered is proportional to the amount of photographic material processed, its size, and the nature of its sensitised surface.
