Protective glove for electrical workers - e.g. with triple-layer composite to offer high resistance to electrical and chemical attack

A protective glove for electrical workers has improved resistance to electricity, UV radiation and chemical attack. It comprises =1 outer layer of a synthetic elastomer, or an elastomer mixture, offering high resistance to chemicals and UV light, =1 intermediate layer of natural or synthetic elastomer, or an elastomeric mixture, offering a high electrical resistance, withstanding up to 5000 volts, and an inner layer of flocked textile fibres providing comfort and thermal insulation. The glove is further provided with grooves or projections on the front part of the hand, to offer a slip-proof surface.
