The tent has canvas (13) supported by a rigid or semi-rigid fame (1), consisting of independent arches resting on the ground. The canvas is made in panels, the edges of which are in contact with the arches to which it is joined removably. Each arch has at least one circular groove along its length with a slot open towards the canvas, in which rings joined to the edge of the canvas can slide and are held in place. The arches are pulled apart, keeping the canvas under tension, by guy lines (15) at each end.
