The body of the milking apparatus comprises several tubes and has the nozzle inlets sectioned perpendicular to their axis. A selector valve controls simultaneous or individual opening of nozzles and the milking ring has an air inlet. This inlet forms a bleed and its action may be continuous or intermittent. A vacuum is provided by a pump, through a pulsing valve. The slide of the valve is subjected to the effects of the vacuum and a magnetic flux and springs are used to ensure the action of the distributor valve slide.
