A device for facilitating the delivery in animals, such as cows, comprises a rod terminating with a head bearing against the body of the mother animal, said rod having two opposite longitudinal rack faces, each of which cooperating with a slider meshing with a pawl partially projecting for its disengagement, said sliders, fitted with hooks for engagement with connection cords for the control pawls of the animal being born, being mutually associated by a rocking or oscillating body allowing relative active shifting and return shiftings of the sliders to a limited extent.
