AUTOMATIC EXCHAGING METHOD FOR CARRIER IN DROP WINDING OF COIL AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To automatize exchange of a carrier in such a way that a horizontal direction guide bar is moved upward, it is brought into contact with crossover wire, a wire retainer-cutter is run for cutting it, an empty carrier is sent, and drop winding action is resumed. CONSTITUTION:When a carrier 7 comes to be in full winding condition 7F, a coil guide 5 opens, it is detached to the right by a roller conveyor 4. Then, a crossover wire part WA is extended from the winding end of a carrier 7F to a coil winding cylinder 1. Next to it, a horizontal direction guide bar 8 which crosses between the coil winding cylinder 1 and the detached position of the full wound carrier 7F is moved upward, and it is brought into contact with crossover wire WA. Then, a wire retainer-cutter 9 and a wire drawer 10 are moved along the guide bar 8, and the crossover wire WA is caught and cut off. After that, the guide bar 8 is moved down, the wire end tucked at the wire retaining and cutting part is drawn out, a coil guard 5 is closed, an accumulated wire shutter 2 opens to resume dropping.
