PURPOSE:Food material in a germ-free tank is circulated through the tank, germ- free valve, germ-free pump and pipes as a closed system and mixed uniformly. CONSTITUTION:After the whole facilities including storage tank 12 are sterilized, a food material as tomato puree is charged into the tank. Then, a liquid sanitizer is circulated germ-free valves and connecting pipes in the tank to keep the germ-free condition for a long time. Germ-free valves 141 and 144 are closed and the tank is tightly sealed, then unnecessary outlet pipes are demounted and germ-free pump 20 and pipe 16 are fitted. After they are sanitized by flowing liquid sanitizer, germ- free valves 143 and 146 are shut, then germ-free pump 20 is operated to circulate the food material through the closed system consisting of the tank 12, valves 143, 146, pump 20, pipe 16 and valves 145 and 144.
