DIAMOND GRINDSTONE FOR GRINDING HARDLY GRINDABLE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent cohesion of swarfs and to increase ductility and malleability of the working surface of the captioned grindstone, by incorporating metallic lead powder in a prescribed ratio into a resin bond of the grindstone. CONSTITUTION:10-30% of metallic lead powder are formulated into a resin bond of the diamond grindstone. As a result the surfaces of swarfs will be covered by the lead due to the ductility and malleability of the lead powder which will be appeared on the surface during the grinding, so that cohesion of the swarfs is prevented to obviate the lowering of the removal ratio. Therefore the working efficiency will be improved and the life of the grindstone will be prolonged.
