PURPOSE:To make it possible to take a measurement efficiently in a short time by measuring the dimensional shape of each part by enlarging and projecting optically contour shapes of a hole, work-formed in a workpiece, under NC control over movement control. CONSTITUTION:Motor 34 is driven and controlled by NC controller 5 to move sample 1 on table 2 along the contour of a wirecut work shape and its contour part is irradiated with spot light from light source 6. Every contour part is projected on screen 9 successively. Light from screen 9 is received by photodetector 11 via reflex mirror 10. With signals from photodetector 11, the position of the work hole of sample 1 and its error are typed out by typewriter 12.
