PURPOSE:To ozonize air and oxygen passing through a discharge space without loss by a system in which a purality of discharge electrode plates molded by pressure lamination are superposed in tiers on plate metal conductors in one direction and then AC high voltage is applied to a discharge electrode feeding portion to cause corona discharge to generate between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The discharge electrode plates 5 molded by pressure lamination of an insulting and ozone-resistant material are superposed in tiers and in a one-way alternating polarity manner on the plate metal conductors 4. The metal conductor feeding portion of the discharge electrode plates 5 is connected with each other at one plate interval each of the same polarity, and also the tips of the discharge electrode plates 5 are formed into the arrow shape 6 in order to lower the flowing resistance of air and oxygen used in the formation of ozone. Furthermore, in order to cause uniform silent discharge, the projections 7 are provided at the center of one side and at both ends of the discharge electrode plate 5, whereby maintaining the silent discharge space 3.
