PREVENTING MECHANISM FOR INTRUSION OF FOREIGN MATTER INTO ELECTROSTATIC CAPACITY TYPE LIQUID LEVEL INDICATOR OF DOUBLE CYLINDER SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To make it possible to remove foreign matter easily by providing an air blasting hole for air injection at a proper position of the bottom part of an inner cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Normally, liquid 12 from tank 11 flows through passage 24 by way of filter 22 and through hole 21 and then flows in and out of gap 25 between side parts of inner cylinder 13 and outer cylinder 14. Therefore, nothing impedes the operation of the liquid level indicator. Through filter 22, foreign matter is inhibited from entering gap 23. If filter 22 gets clogged with the foreign matter, valve 26 is opened to blow N2 gas from the top surface to the reverse surface of filter 22 (from the internal surface to the external surface) via pipe 18, gap 17 and air blasting hole 21, thereby removing the foregin matter.
