PURPOSE:To perform inexpensive and high-speed circle-to-straight line conversion light scanning by the constitution in which the optical fiber end parts in a cylindrical part are bent in a central direction and the extension line thereof crosses the rotating axial center of a rotary mirror means. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam 18 radiated from a laser diode 16 provided on the extension of the revolving shaft of a motor 14 is reflected by a rotary mirror 15, and forms a focus at the end part 12a of a cylindrical part 12; therefore, at the time when the rotary mirror 15 rotates at a high speed, the laser beam 18 enters the inside of the cylindrical part 12 efficiently from the multiple optical fiber end parts 12a disposed on the circumference and are successively radiated from the end of the straight line part 13 by becoming a scanning beam 19, thereby forming a focus on a target 20. When a signal is applied to the laser diode 16, the intensity of the beam 18 is modulated and as the target 20 moves at a constant speed in an arrow 21 direction, a desired image is drawn on the surface of the target 20.
