PURPOSE:To obtain a copying machine which is simple in structure, small-sized, and able to execute repeat copying safely, by constituting so that the location and separation of the original and the photosensitive body can be exactly executed by one original tip catch member. CONSTITUTION:As for the original 9 and the photosensitive paper 10, their tips reach the first position A almost simultaneously, contact with the catch piece locating part 40a of the catch member 37, and the original 9 is caught by the catch part 40b. As soon as the catch member 37 separates from the first position A, transfer of the catch member 37 is restarted by the transfer belt 44. After that, when the catch member 37 passes through the exposure part 4, the tip of the original 9 proceeds to the circulating circuit 36 as it remains caught by the catch member 37. The photosensitive paper 10 goes straight on by strength of its core, separates from the original 9, and proceeds to the discharge passage 23. When the catch member 37 reaches the first position again, it stops, and location to the photosensitive paper 10 to be fed is executed. In this way, repeat copying is executed safely by a simple structure.
