CASTING METHOD OF IMPELLER FOR AXIALLFLOW AND OBLIQUEE FLOW PUMP

PURPOSE:To make it possible to cast impellers having different specifications easily, by manufacturing at least one out of the core print section and inlet forming section separately from the blade forming section and uniting them together in the course of molding process. CONSTITUTION:The impeller is cast with main core 6 which is composed of the first outer mold 1 forming the back of main board (b), the second outer mold 2 forming the free end face of blade (c), loop core print section 3 held between both outer molds 1 and 2, blade forming section 4 forming the front periphery side of main board (b) and both sides of blade (c) at the inner side of core print section 3, and inlet forming section 5 forming the front center of main board (b), and axial auxiliary core 7 forming the inner surface of boss. When impellers are made, core print section 3 and inlet forming section 5 are formed separately from blade forming section 4 of main core 6, and they are united together in the course of molding. By this, core print section 3 and inlet forming section 5 will not obstruct the impeller manufacturing process, even when blade (c) is twisted considerably.
