PURPOSE:The end fixing device which is so made as to permit end treatment with good workability by press-fixing a thin-walled unravelling preventing pipe to a steel wire bundle prior to mounting of a sleeve. CONSTITUTION:An unravelling preventing pipe consisting of a thin-walled sleeve is passed to the cut portion of a steel wire bundle 1 or a strip plate is wound spirally to form an unravelling preventing pipe 2b2. Thence, the unravelling preventing pipe is made to 2a2 or 2b3 by the die 4 of a press-fixing machine which is capable of forming the same spiral screw shape 5 as the outside diameter of the steel wire bundle 1. Thence, the steel wire bundle 1 is cut at the section of the cut part 6 and a sleeve 3A1 having the spiral screw shape 5 on the inside surface and having the screw 8 of the bolt type on the outside is screwed thereto and this is fixed by the combination of a nut 10 and anchor plate 11.
