A self-feeder for fur animals comprises a housing containing a feed hopper and a feeding space (6) situated below the hopper for supplying feed by gravity to the feeding space. An opening (9) for the animal's head is provided in the wall of the housing turned towards the animal's cage, the feeding space being situated to one side of the opening behind the wall of the housing.
