For manufacturing a package for ornamental, utility or wild plants, there is provided a package humidified with water; this package has a support layer which decomposes in the soil into humus, particularly a web or a lattice of vegetable material, a layer, supported by said first layer, of mire fiber, and a ligand which decomposes in the soil into humus, particularly cellulose; the wet package is wound about the bare roots with the support layer, the mire and the ligand directed inwardly. For the implantation, the roller containing the roots is introduced into the soil as it is. The support layer and the ligand are transformed into humus in the soil.
