We Claim: 1. A rotation speed governor for a hydraulic turbine loaded by an electric power generator, comprising a power setting adjustment mechanism and a frequency setting adjustment mechanism of which the respective power supply circuits are connected to a tachogenerator through a controllable electric selector switch arrangement operable into a first position, in which said power supply circuit of said power setting adjustment mechanism is connected to the output of said tachogenerator, and into a second position, in which said power supply circuit of said frequency setting adjustment mechanism is connected to said output of said tachogenerator, said governor further including an actuating mechanism controlling the fluid guiding, unit of said hydraulic turbine, connected to the output of said frequency setting adjustment mechanism and of said power setting adjustment mechanism, in which governor the circuit of said controllable selector switch arrangement includes an openable circuit-breaking limit switch associated with said power setting adjustment mechanism in such a manner that when the range of the setting of said last-mentioned mechanism has been used to a full extent, said selector switch arrangement is operated from its said first position into its said second position.
