Dredger vessel with ladder - has hull lower portion holding ladder on bottom when ballasted

The dredger vessel has a ladder supporting a dredging tool to be moved along a course. In order to dredge from a deep seabed (4), the vessel comprises an upper (5) and a lower (6) hull, the ladder (2) being mounted on the latter which, when emptied floats up to below the upper hull, and when ballasted sinks so as to hold the ladder on the bottom. There can be a hinge joint (7) between the hulls at the bow, and a lifting tackle (8) between them at the stern. The upper hull can form a machinery pontoon, with a dredger pipe system (13) connected at the joint to one (14) in the lower hull.
