A device for extending ventilating ductwork in mining and tunnelling, in which an airduct (7) of foldable material which can be connected to the end of ventilating ductwork (7') is folded so that it can be extended and is arranged upon a tubular airduct store (3) to which is fastened detachably at the discharge end a nozzle (2) and, at the other and, a funnel (4) over which the airduct (7) is guided during extension, characterized in that the nozzle (2) is mounted upon a one-piece or multiple frame (1) which is arranged in the region of the airduct store (3) and funnel (4) and which carries the airduct store (3), except during the period of replacement, and to which during this period the funnel (4) may be fastened.
