ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREApparatus is disclosed for processing plastic meltsof the type having a container from which plastic melt isdelivered to a chamber of the processing section of the apparatus.A closing member is provided for the chamber outlet at theprocessing section of the apparatus which is adapted to selectivelydeliver the melt to a die filter of the processing section, orto re-circulate the melt back to the container while the diefilter or the like is being replaced, thus assuring that themelt flows at all times and is thus prevented from becomingexposed to damaging excessive heat at any point of the system.
