ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThe present invention relates to a composition,a process of production thereof, and a method for treat-ment of neurological diseases, and especially to the treat-ment of such diseases as amyotropic lateral sclerosis,by administering detoxified but neurotropically activemodified snake venom neurotoxin composition derived fromthe venom of the Naja genus, where the composition exhibitsat least a 30% inhibition of viral plaques in the SemlikiForest virus test and a bioassay shows the compositionto be atoxic.
