DEOXIDIZATION KILLED AGENT FOR STEEL SLAG FORMING

The antifoaming agent comprises organic matter, 30-60 wt. % NacCO3 = 5 wt. %, and = 1 wt. % of CaO, SiO2, MgO, MnO, Al2O3 and FeO balance. The agent is used in an O top-blowing basic converter. Thus, when a mixture of plup, converter slag 30-60 wt. %, and Na2CO3 5 wt. % is added to slag after high C steel, it approved effects on the depression of foaming in a short time of 20-30 seconds in stead of the existing time of 60-90 seconds.
