The characteristic features of structure and inclusions of 08Kh20N10G6 Cr-Ni electrode steel were investigated in 10 different melts of this steel, containing different deoxidants, namely, ferrosilicon, calcium, ASK alloy, ferrosilicon plus cerium, calcium plus cerium, ASK alloy plus cerium. Specimens taken from the chilled ingots were subjected to metallographic, electron-microscopic and petrographic examinations. (Author)
