The covered market constructed using prefabricated elements comprises columns (1) supporting horizontal hollow girders (3). These girders (3) have a lower cord (4), an upper cord (5) and two widening lateral walls (6, 7) having openings (8). Floor elements (9) each having a horizontal slab (10) and a vertical rib (11) rest, via their ends, on the lower cord (4) of the girders (3), passing through the openings (8). Spaces (13) are thus delimited between the ribs (11) and through the openings (8) for accommodating pipes or for circulating conditioned air. IMAGE
