Lift traffic density control system - has traffic density indicators connected to storey call signal memory

The lift control system handles a number of lift cages serving a number of storeys in a building. A zone in the building in which traffic increases markely in relation to that in other zones is assigned greater cage traffic density. An average value of calls is compared with those in each zone and excess indicated ensures additional traffic. - Each zone has traffic density indicator EHD. Each indicator is connected to storey calling up signal storage and traffic density signals are generated in relation to stored signals for cage actuation. Each zone has comparator and mean value generator for analysing the traffic density input signals.
