The moulding machine has a machine foot with horizontal and vertical connecting faces adjoining an upper side of the machine foot, which is placed against the front topside of the cylinder moulded piece, the pressure cylinders for the injection unit supporting the stationary mould half. The other mould half rests on the piston rods of the pressure cylinders, and the plasticising cylinder of an injection unit can engage centrally through the cylinder moulded piece. The cylinder moulding piece has, on =1 broad side, connections for fastening to the connecting faces of the machine foot, and also, on =1 additional broad side, connections for the carriage of an injection unit operating in the closure joint of the mould, and also centering connections averted from the mould for an injection unit operating across the closure joint.
