The suspension balance uses the transverse force, produced by deflection of the centre of gravity from the balance point for wt. evaluation. The measurement accuracy of the balance is improved by reducing the effect of the deflection angle. - An electromechanical expansion or compression measurement cell is used as the measurement unit. The scale is suspended on two groups of parallel carrier rods, arranged in parallel planes. - Each group is connected to an electromechanical expansion cell via a draw rod.
